We're going plastic freePosted on 22nd September 2020

Plastic sticks around in the environment for thousands of years, not only does it threaten our wildlife it also spreads toxins, plastic is one of the biggest contributors to global warming, almost every single plastic are made from chemicals that come from production of planet warming fuels such as gas, oil and coal.

This is why we are going plastic free, all our garment shipments are now being sent it 100% fully recycled packaging, this cuts back a massive 204kg of single use plastic.

Here are some handy tips on how you can help avoid household plastic that end up in our seas harming our wonderful sea creatures.

Living without household plastic

Tell the UK government that we need a new law to phase out plastic pollution Sign The Petition

Plastic is choking our oceans and killing marine life.

Every year we throw away millions of tonnes of plastic. And vast amounts of it finds its way into the ocean.

As the plastic breaks down into tiny pieces it’s consumed by marine animals. All this plastic pollution means a cocktail of harmful chemicals can be passed up the food chain. Plastic is even getting into our food and water supplies.

We need the government to introduce a plan now that:

  • starts with phasing out non-essential single-use plastics now
  • commits to tackling trickier plastics, like in clothes and car tyres, as soon as possible
  • maintains quality of life for people who need plastic, and doesn't cause worse environmental problems.

Please sign our petition to tell the UK government that we need a new law to phase out plastic pollution.
