This year’s Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM) saw thousands of professionals attend Birmingham’s NEC to witness cutting-edge innovations, hear from leading industry professionals, and visit hundreds of stands from within the industry.
PK Safety were proud sponsors of the Local Authority Theatre and had the privilege of listening to a host of fantastic speakers covering everything from ‘How clearer communication can save lives’ - (Chris Beddoes – Stop’N’Go), to ‘Embedding Net Zero Into Culture, Process, and Decision Making’ (Ghinwa Chammas – BSI).
Collaboration, innovation, and working together to create a greener, more sustainable planet through new technologies and processes was a key message at this year’s event – something that is very important to us at PK Safety with our own ambitious plans to be Carbon Neutral by 2030.
Communications and Marketing Manager for PK Safety Victoria Vaughan said, ‘As a business, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to reach our Carbon Neutral goal for 2030. Attending this year’s Expo was a fantastic opportunity to see some brilliant examples of how things can be done better. Hearing experts in their fields discussing the importance of sustainable service offerings, and how we can work together to achieve these goals, was a particular highlight, and something I will be sharing back with colleagues and our clients.”
Whilst at the show, PK Safety was able to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise within the workwear and PPE industry and had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of attendees during the two-day event.
